I've cleaned

I've cooked

I've cleaned again.

And now I'm going to the bookstore
In my new winter sweater and hair bun
trying to fit in with the sophisticated DC crowd.

too bad everyone on this side of the tracks is LEP
It's two stories with comfy chairs
I STILL haven't finished Lord of the Flies
If I sip some hot chocolate I might be too much of a fantasy.

I leave my work at work.
My life is good.

Now I just wish I played the guitar and knew Spanish
so I am more well-rounded when hot suave French boy sits next to me
