WELCOME to
Hong Kong. A much better subway system.
the best one of the
trip. Victoria's Peak and a view aboard

the Star Ferry. That's Danielle and I totally beat from another long day, waiting for the subway after Ladies Market... They had an acid incident the night before. Scary huh?

We took this pirate ship

over to Stanley Market. That is Isaac. I got two beautiful bruises on that ship "gently sliding down the stairs." I'm so good at being myself. At the market, I ended up getting a $20 dollar tripod =). That is 17

5 Hong Kong dollars. Don't worry Tokyo is $100 to $1. This market was better than Ladies in the sense that there was greater variety. I also bought my summer dress from this sweet Asian lady who was pregnant...it's gonna be a girl =). Ladies market was cheaper because you could bargain more and those people are crazy! So it's a good place if you want to get some good stories about people follow

ing you "just for you" or "you cheap...you gots more monies" Matt helped me get a tie for my brother. 1) I fear I'm awful at picking out good ties. 2) I hate bargaining. I just say I have no money. Which is normally true.

This is the lift up to see Big Buddah sp? Probably my favorite place, well not Big Budda per say, but the walk past it. Gorgeous. I could stay there forever and could enjoy the serenity of being by myself with my camera. If I ever come back, that will be my get-away.
Talk about humidity. Woah it was hot. And you can't drink the tap water here. Everyone waits their turn. Not many people smile. 7-elevens are on every street. We got to visit the Hong Kong temple. Awesome experience; our group was the only one there. Great mood for the morning. We met with the Coke a Cola Company after Dim Sum. Giordanna business visit was interesting. A good discussion of ethical dilemmas afterwards. What can we tolerate, what is part of culture, who is to say what is right or what is wrong. Tried Indian food for lunch. Enjoyed it.
Another threesome. Roommates: Amy and Sarah. The YMCA ended up being a really nice hotel. "Hi Hi" The Chinese have this phrase down. It's so cute.
