Where you feel like you can't do anything right
Where awkwardness is all around
You don't feel like you fit in
One person says one nice thing to the 50 who don't care
Says a lot about that one person
Life is full of ups and downs
One minute nothing can stop you from greatness
Two seconds later you fell 2 flights down
I guess it keeps your legs in shape.
I know what it is like to fall, to hit the wall, the floor
Bruises are evidence
But as much as we get rejected, either from gravity or
failed desire
we've been on the other side too
It's almost harder to turn away those who want more than you
but it's nice feeling like you can choose your path
We are all in search of what's compatible, what's right
And the hard thing is we all don't agree
Some have accomplished the task
Others, like me, are still wandering
But we all are falling. getting back up. and trying again
That's the essence of life.
Trying again. cause tomorrow could be a better day.
