It's a lot easier to not care about what you're giving up
when you think about all the things you've been given.
I don't know why it took me so long to understand this.

you can only receive ungratefully before whining about what you don't have
becomes everything you are and will ever be.

sometimes i think we think a little too much about
opportunity cost.


you give a little, you get a little
there is no room for selfishness in the system of love.
expect only to give everything you can
and find joy in happy surprises.

flag error when 'i want'>= the willing hand.

i realize this is a gift
that sometimes i will have to pray for.
