The line of the week I forgot to mention: "I've seen and heard from the beyond. Yeah you heard me correctly - seen and heard." Oh man... old ladies.
I like my new ward. Apparently we will not be the only newcomers this summer. And there are actually other singles out here. Hopefully we manage to have fun and get the full experience of the south. There is definitely character and things to experience here. I can't wait to become a legit member with a real calling [a way to serve within the church].

I'm getting darker
My hair is wavy and frizzy- but I still try to straighten it
I'm sticky again
I get free food all the time
I danced in front of strangers - and got paid for looking retarded
(All of the old people asked if i was tired the next morning - what matters is that they had a good time - and that I won't ever see them again)
No one makes a comment about me sounding different
I can go running on a golf course with ducks and geese
and I'm 5 minutes from the beach.
also - bike week is next week & my camera is ready
