Let's have a picnic. We thought about doing what every other BYU student does this time of year (i.e. Festival of Colors) but we aren't huge fans of traffic and clogged lungs (I woke up with a cold this morning). Been there, and it's a blast. I actually like crowds and color. But we'll let the freshman have their turn. We'll have a picnic in the park and talk about life. Menu? Spinach wraps, chewy cookies, oranges, and crackers. When the sun comes out in Provo - you don't miss it. Utah winter has killed the pigment in our skin. No one was there to take our picture, but it looks real right? One day I won't have my best friend to sit in the park with.
Everyone else worries, but we don't. Okay, we do a little, but we're mostly excited. We accept the mystery and want to enjoy the ride and the ideas of how to make our simple dreams happen. We won't let each other forget about these times.
Not everyone understands what you mean. It's nice to have people that do. We are holding strong to our independence. But secretly, there is no such thing and we know that.
