Amen. I'm alive.

Dearest Follower,

I know you might have assumed I forgot it was the month of November, but alas my time has been taken in other areas. It's already the middle of the month and I have no idea how it got here so fast. Time is an amazing thing to just sit here and think about. I don't think we'll ever understand it.

I was stopped at a red light just the other day. It was night, the ground was still wet after a light rain and the air a little chilly. Feel it? good. has nothing to do with the rest of the story. Story? the one I'm about to make up. No, so I was just sitting there alone in my car. My light turned red and I waited on State St. The cars to the left just took off. Like a little race. I watched the people (for as close as you can see them) in their cars. Everyone looked so different and it just made me think.

Again how crazy this world is. We're all so consumed in this you- go- me- go world. We are all just little micro pieces to this huge puzzle called life. I love those out of the "real world" moments where you take a step back.

So you want to know what's new in my life? My mom did. I just had leftover pancakes that were actually really good. This weekend I realized I fail at making perfectly shaped pancakes while Emily is amazing.
I took pictures of Danielle on Sunday and I realized I want more models. This is something I eventually want to get paid for. I love it. out of 300, 25 are posted on facebook. Hilarie and Annika came along as my helpful assistants. Hair and clothing. It was interesting trying to combine 4 visions. Danielle was excellent though, and of course the girl with the camera gets the end say. Sign up sheet. Just let me know. PS she's single.


I have finished my application for my study abroad and cannot wait for next spring.

I have an MBA dinner to attend with my Mentor tonight. Yes even I am thinking about getting my MBA. It's good just to know your options.

Jake took me to the roof of the library. Danny ate the food I brought him. Those are the hot library security guards at the front desk. Check them out, Danny would love that.

I helped Jacob close on friday night and that was actually quite enjoyable. I could have been tired after 8 hours, but I seemed to laugh a lot. However, Jacob managed to handle my craziness. I blame it on the cold, which I have officially had for a week now. Getting better all the time.

And on that sarcastic note I would like to make a list. Of things I am grateful for at this moment.

1. I haven't been able to park in our lot all week because I come home late and...well it's always full. Apparently some people have been booted because our summer rental tags have expired.

2. I was afraid I would have no time to finish my quiz, starting the lesson at 10 when I had to have the quiz started by 10:30, turned out I read too much on the last lesson and the material was easy. 10/10

3. My hair went the way I wanted it.

4. I had the self-isolation thing going with my hood up and ear phones in and an old friend I didn't even know that well saw me and gave me a big hug

5. I have the ability to love people without knowing them.

6. There are still some colors on the leaves

7. I'm not a duck at the duck pond

8. My laptop still hasn't crashed

9. I got to do a photo shoot this weekend

10. I have an amazing family

11. I can listen to the radio again.

You know I hate having great thoughts during the week, but not having enough time to write them down. I need to start carrying my book with me again. What's worse though is wanting to say what I can write. Everything comes out easier in writing. Why is that? Some people always seem to have the right words. I never say them. Everything just comes out all wrong, or takes me 10xs as long to get to the right words. Either way, those who love me understand what I mean and don't judge me. I've gotten better though. I still like to be perfect. Ah, not possible...yet

And no I'm not happy that I'm back on facebook. Facebook traps you. People can see you without you seeing them. BUT the pros have brought me out of my self isolation and alas I am connected once again.
