Trying New Things That Are Old

So this is my first portrait. I took a draw and paint class once.
Obviously I remember well...

Obviously my photographs come out a little better... I'm trying! It's fun to sit down sometimes and give it what you got.

My next plan is a self-portrait. That way I don't feel bad about messing up anyone else's face.

I also went to the thrift store today and bought these two books for $3 total. 50% off at the thrift store...can't get much better than that. I even asked the her if they counted the other book. She said yes they were half off. I love those moments!

Turns out I live in the ghetto (south southside). We have an ABC liquor store and thrift store just about every block. I kinda have a new hobby...seeing what new finds I can discover for cheap at the thrift store. The mystery of never knowing if you could find something is intriguing.

I have also found...
1) pair of glasses $1
2) wood picture frame $4
3) box camera $3

cool photographs with new props? priceless
