What Do We Really Know Any Way

How many things can you say you know with 100% surety?

I think you could come up with a good list, but I think even then you could discover some creative arguments of exception after exception.

The thing is...we live by faith. Or at least that's how I am. Granted, we live in a world of advanced expertise and experimentation. Science has proven so many things, but how much of it do I really understand? Certainly not much. I believe that it works; I have faith in science, in the knowledge God has given to some lucky members of society.

If we put the brain power of the world together, we might come close to understanding many of the mysteries of the world. That of course will never happen because the efficiency of a group that large is well...you've seen the wars on the news as well as I.

random tangent that fades off into a place that doesn't belong in this post...
[PLUS do you know how moody the human population is? My really motivated and productive moments come under minuet conditions and sporadic impulses brought on by the changing of the tides. Interpretation...I hardly ever work at my best, most efficient level. You might interpret that as me saying I am lazy, however that's not necessarily the case either. We, especially women, are multi-taskers, hardly ever focused on one thing. We can go from one thing to the next just like that. We are forced to conquer a million opportunities in one day. Frankly, it just gets overwhelming. What happens when you get overwhelmed? You crash. You might have that spark of non-stop motivation, but you cannot keep it up for long, at least not at your most effecient level.]

Back to this post...
Fact #1: You will have to make decisions you are not 100% sure about.
Fact #2: We are surrounded by that fact 24/7 of our lives.

Hence why people make mistakes and we have economic crises

We just hope that we come off with the winning hand the majority of the time. That's all I ask for >50%. But is that really all I expect? No, that's me trying to syke myself out. I want a 100% every time. It's something I'm having to cope with...mediocraty. Winning is so relative and obscure. I wish I could be one of those people so happy about every little bone that gets thrown my way. Who takes nothing for granted. Who get excited just to be alive. Sure I have those moments, but they are all too rare.

So yes I'm talking about school, relationships, career, family, shoot even your shopping experience. When are we really satisfied. When are we 100% sure we made the right choice? More than we might think, but I tend to focus on the wrong or less than best choices I've made, and use that to hinder my next decision. The idea of "disappointment" or a wrong turn. Can we ever get back...?

Yes, yes of course we can. And what is the only difference if it was the wrong choice? You have a funny detour story. BUT what if you can't just return it back to the store? What if it's more than a monetary loss? What if you ruin your relationship or the relationships of others for that matter? NO PRESSURE. yea yea...

Here's what I've discovered. Keep praying. Keep singing. Focus on what's good. Do all those good things like education, talents, etc...and if you don't get a wrong feeling...run with it. Don't look back, don't look to the side. What's waiting for you at the horizon? Look at who's running next to you. Run together and have the best time of your life. That's all I got to say.
